Sleekly designed large model book stand / Bible stand / lectern made of copper. Made around 1900 (late 19th century/early 20th century)
The top is covered with red/brown velvet fabric. The top is made of wood framed by a copper frame. The base and support are also made of copper. The stand rests on 4 ball feet. Very beautiful, heavy, solid quality. Also suitable for large books.
The item is in undamaged condition with normal signs of use commensurate with its age. Please see the photos for details. It was deliberately not polished because the patina is so beautiful. The stand cannot be folded.
