Classic large bottle coaster from the 19th century. Silver-plated (on copper) with a scalloped edge.
Suitable for Magnum bottles. Wooden interior with a silver-plated medallion in the center.
Marked and inspected on the lower edge, which dates from the mid-19th century.
The whole thing is in beautiful condition with normal signs of wear consistent with age. A hairline crack in the wood and some areas where the silver plating has faded. However, this does not detract from the beauty of this coaster.
