Antique wooden Gumballs/Candy display. Glass windows with the original text 'GumBalls 1c' and 'Candy 1c'. Windows can be swapped so that 'Candy 1c' appears at the front. On top an opening to refill the machine that is closed with a cork.
This vending machine dates from the 1st half of the last century (ca. 1910) and used to be on the counter of a drugstore.
The machine works as follows: You gave the person behind the counter the 1 cent coin, after which you moved the slider up and down and you received a chewing gum ball from the bottom of the door. So there is no need to put money in the machine.
Is in a beautiful antique condition with normal signs of wear commensurate with age. See the photos for this.
Gumballs are included. Not for consumption but for decoration!
Dimensions approximately:
Height: 27.5 cm
Width: 16 cm
Depth: 12 cm
Weight (with gumballs): 1420 grams (1.42 kg)
