Antique marked Rococo jardinière / centrepiece with original inner container
Beautiful antique jardinière in Rococo style. Made of metal and then silver plated? I assume so because this centerpiece was made by a silversmith. Richly decorated all around. Two sturdy handles for transport. The zinc inner container is also included (not completely waterproof anymore)
Inside marked "Orfèvrerie Selecta". Déposé 362 is also mentioned.
The whole is in a beautiful condition with normal signs of use according to age. See the photos for this.
Over the years this centerpiece has acquired a beautiful patina and is of a very good, solid, heavy quality.
